Here’s my theory…. Unless you have a basket (or cart) in tow with a multitude of things in it you’re prey for “Can you tell me where the laundry soap is?” Remove the “My Name is Sunny sticker” from your blouse (just teasing) and carry many items. But yes... you're probably a very approachable looking person .

It happens to me all the time, too. Yes, I think we must just look
approachable. You know, helpful, but also like we wouldn't snap a nasty remark and walk away. I guess that's a good thing, right?
