I think you have the perfect job ...
but you need an assistant - a volunteer, to help with the overflow. Maybe your principal can find one for you. Ten years, twenty years from now, these students of yours will still love you and remember what you teach them now -- not the ABCs, but the joy of learning and the kind guidance of a worthy adult. :)

My sole experience teaching kids was one summer at Bible school. I had a class consisting of two third graders. They got my number right away and ran all over me.e

How come the numbers keep fluctuating?
Don't come teach in South Africa - a class of 30-40 students is average.

Nanaroo, sounds like you have your hands full to overflowing...
I'm sure the kids must be fun, but keep your options open.
