I have a friend like that..
I am always there for her when she needs me. She has problems in her marriage. I always try to give her advice but she never follows it and when I need advice or support I do not get it from her.. go figure!

A friend who takes all the time will in no time become a burden; a rock around your neck who thinks only of themselves. You find they can't be trusted, are envious, jealous, and will accuse you of being just as needy. My daughter has a "friend" like this, who asks for advice and never follows it, and then asks the same question all over. My dot has decided to wash her hands of her (I'll believe it when I see it.) But she just might do it. It just adds turmoil to her life she just doesn't need!
