I used to work at a hospital. Talk to someone in the billing department and ask what kind of assistance does your mother qualify for. Make sure you know her income, bill infor, etc. People who work at the hospital do not volunteer that type of information., unless you know someone. As long as you remain professional and explain the situation your mother should be able to recieve some type of assistance.
