And one more thing,
My Saturday night treat waits for me: peppermint stick ice cream, and I can even share it with the kitties because they love it, too!

In Closing For This Evening,

Dear Lustorlove,

I'm sincerely sorry for your loneliness. Me: 40's, never married, no 2-legged chilluns, and content to be alone. The lonley bug has bitten me on occasion, but I have not experienced a 22 yr time frame. You need a kitty-cat or two!

well you are talking to a woman who was married for 20 years but have been single way too long 22 years

Not long enough, Lustorlove,

and he won't let up when I ask for some peace and space, and to kindly go our separate ways. Geographically we are a LONG ways away, but that doesn't always make a difference.  I tried dating an old friend/spark, but that was a dud when he moved WAY too fast in every respect, and I'm talking in EVERY respect besides sex.

I cherish my two closest girlfriends and plan with them to do things together. That to me is very special. When it's time for that someone special in my life he will be here.

I do understand that as I have been there way too many times, but it would be nice to have a companion to go to the movies or dinner, I am tired of doing everything alone  How long has it been for you?

I understand. Really, I do.
But I would rather be lonely alone than lonely in a relationship or worse, in a relationship I REALLY want out of. Smile and try to be thankful you have no one there to make you miserable!

Yes, You're Right, Lustorlove,
He is my kid, one of my three four-legged loves. And very jealous of any man that tries to hone in on his space! I'll take my kitties any day, these days. I'm not a Norman Rockwell type, but I love my Norman Rockwell moments with tea, fireplace, and a good movie curled up alone at home with my kids on the couch. That's comfort.

When I get to feeling down and low I snuggle with my favorite feline family member. Somehow he always knows when I need kitty love and snuggles. It really works. Or else he just knows when I am most vulnerable and susceptible to opening a fresh package of albacore tuna especially for him.  Yeah, that's probably it. He knows how to work me, which always brings a smile!

Well, I am down today because I am sick with the flu.

I feel down because I had to turn down a get together with some friends this evening that we planned for a week.  When I am sick I am terrible.  I am irritated, grouchy and frustrated.  I hate being sick, especially when I have my two toddlers fighting for my attention and the last thing I feel like is to play and read stories... If you know what I mean.... Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow.
