Point # 2 - As far as Bill Clinton being a politican, just watch and see. Now that Clark is in the running
Bill and Hillary will begin running, exactly where, I am not sure, but they will begin to run and the Clinton political machine will be at work again, from sea to shining sea.     If you would like read my latest post on Breaking News For All Bloggers (A&E # 3) -- Clark Today, Clinton Tomorrow!

Ritchie, did you listen to the speech. I did, that is till he started talking about the Bible
and they cut him off.   Prior to his edited sermon, he was talking about keeping Governor Davis.   As I stated in my post, I don't care what Clinton says in churches, he does have freedom of speech, and people have the freedom to not listen or walk out, and as the cable news networks did turn him off.    However, the same is true of the Ten Commandments, people do not have to read, certainly most choose not to obey, and they can reap the consequences of such action but don't use the argument of church and state, for there is truly a double standard.

Free Speech and... rocks
Bill Clinton speaking in a church is a sermon. It is also free speech. It may have had some political content. That guy, what was his name... yeah, Jesus, there's a guy who spouted political crap all the time! Help the poor and downtrodden of the earth! The guy was a commie. You can not go there, wait till tomorrow, and Bill Clinton will be... miracle of miracles, GONE! Free Speech is more important than one person's religion. Court houses are secular institutions dedicated to protecting ALL religions--and favoring none. That's why and how we have religious freedom. By the way, Bill Clinton is no longer a politician. He once was, but no longer holds elective office, nor is he running for any office (as far as I know). Which means that you are likely some variety of political idealogue who defines Bill Clinton as a politician, as opposed to a citizen who was once a politician and elected office holder.

Liberal Shields

You are right on in your post.  But liberals have certain shields that protect them from accusations of doing what they claim is wrong.  Turning a church pulpit into political grand-standing is one of those shields.

Another is racism.  No matter what J. Jackson says about Jews, No matter what Sen. R. Byrd [D] says about 'white niggers,'  they are invisible to being seen as racist even though they make obvious, offensive racist statements.

The list is endless but their time as a party is not.  They can only hold on so long with unsubstantial appearances.  Like the Wizard of Oz, the curtain will come down and they will become a minor party.
