Oh, I HATE losing a post! Especially if you spend a lot of time on it. This happens to me so often that for large posts I type them up in my email or word pad first....that way I can copy and paste them, and won't lose them if something screws up.

when our cable goes out, I usually count to 100 (not 10..lol..), cuss a bit
and hope the cable is restored quickly..if the connection stays lost for more than 5 minutes, I usually get up and go read or watch tv
(If I was in the middle of a large post, I usually just cry a lot...
..)

I drink, cuss, and smoke...then if that doesn't work..
I throw things at the computer, jump up and down on the bed...cuss some more....then I fall on the ground, kicking and screaming and if that doesn't work...I throw my laptop out the window...
So far, I didn't need to do that....the jumping on the bed and kicking and screaming did the trick. 
ummm, I'm kidding of course..LOL I don't smoke.
