Whacky
That is one part of an aggression test given to potentially aggressive dogs. If they stand and face their expressions, then they have passed. It is the fear that causes a dog to be aggressive.

Maybe the dog
is looking for a mate? or companion or is extremely vain and is actually adoring itself

Whacky..
Our dog sometimes sleeps with her feet up in the air, too! She sees dogs on TV and will bark.
Sometimes, I can't help but wonder what our pets are thinking. hah-hah. Probably a good thing I don't know.

Your neighbour could be a great source of posts, Whacky. As for 'decals of dog slobber'- LOL You should patent the idea, who
nose, it might make a fortune.

Oh the Dawg on being a Dawg! Maybe he likes that other dawg in the mirror and thinks it is his friend? I have seen dawg's do this and it is really funny to watch..As for the soap opera...well go for it if you can stand to listen to it. Could be interesting!

you or bo, it's kinda hard to say who really earns the whacky moniker!
i know a golf course that keeps what i'm guessing is a thigh bone from a cow or buffalo maybe, something huge, a bone that they got from a butcher, they leave it on the veranda leading to the clubhouse. i have no idea if they have the dog to chew the bone but i can guarantee you i didn't go snooping around to find out!

Very funny
My dog barks his head off when our vacuum is turned off but when I have it on he runs and hides upstairs with the kids.

Whacky, I am cracking up, picturing Bo in front of the mirror.
I like the idea of the big, slobbery dog nose prints as anti-burglar warning devices. That could be a marketable idea, don't you think? Fake dog nose prints?

Whacky, this reminds me of how much I love the reaction of babies when you hold them in front of a mirror.
