I am not sure that I want to stay in real estate. It has gotten where it is so cut throat and every transaction is a nightmare. I am working harder for less $ Always having to reduce commissions. What sellers dont realize is I have to cover my marketing - just one ad in the newspaper runs 145.00 each ad. What sellers dont realize I have never sold a home off of a print ad. Flyers in front of their home doesnt sell their home but it cost me alot of money.
It has just gotten to be a job I hate. If I could get back into management it would be ok. We will be moving soon so I will leave all my friends here behind or at least those I thought were friends.

I hated that those things happened to you. As far as people are concerned we see how other people are like today, but we can't let them go because of the good times we had with our friends in the past. Every now and then we try to work things out to only make them worse. Sometimes people outgrow each other and now its time to let go. Life hurts and believe me I went through my drama. I had no choice but to let go of people who I though would be there for me. As far as family, I limit the negativity that I hear because somehow their negative views rubb off on what I am trying to accomplish. Do you want to continue to work in real estate? Then do what you got to do to get back on track. Don't quit b/c life hurt you. Trust me I know. Everyday I want to quit but everyday I believe I am one step closer to accomplish my dream. Are you in real estate for yourself or is for some other reason? If its for yourself, then Damn everyone else. Do what you got to do to get back on track even if it means that you have to sacrifice some things. And I'm talking to myself too. I am the only person who motivates me. Everyone else is either negative or emphathize with you but won't tell you what you can do to get to the next level. Good Luck!
