Sadly...

Even some women still cannot see it this way..

I am a muslim and I completely understand the frustration of trying to explain to some other people (even other women) that covering our body (wearing decent outfit, if not the fully-covered muslimah attire) is basically a rejection of the possibility becoming an object of any irresponsible parties..

I agree with you, there are two major streams of feminists regarding a lot of women issues.. one is the stream that wants to raise women acknowledgement of their own being and how to live their life well among other people (family, work, etc.), while the other is one that holds the view that total freedom is by having the unchallenged rights to do whatever they want with themselves.. and they often see other women who choose to be full-time mother or wearing decent outfit as oppressed/not free.

Thank you for writing this mind-opening post.. I really hope it can shed some light to some young women out there..

Moxie
I hadnt heard about the Boys Gone Wild. I am sure that you are right on the homosexual males but then again you know that saying:  Boys will be boys.

Hello, StrickGold,
Yes, this Joe Francis person is most disgusting, I must agree. It is my understanding that there are also now a series of "boys gone wild" where these young frat-type boys on spring break or (similar events) do their macho thing for the camera thinking the female species will be quite entertained with their antics. Funny thing is though, which I have no problem with, is that the real market for "boys" is the homosexual consumer. This doesn't say a lot for the male intelligence on that level either!
