WhiteJedi - "strange" is definitely the operative word
In this case I received a few nasty comments, was blocked and then written about. I let it all slide, it became obvious that the picnic was missing a few sandwiches.

Poem looks like self-righteous dribble. Strange how a Christian immediately assumes they need to "save" the atheist.

Sunnybeach7 - that's the thing, but when one finds themselves entertained
by such antics........
It becomes time to ask yourself a few questions.

Sometimes engaging in a good game can't be helped. It's just too tempting sometimes. The clicks are a good bonus.

Sunnybeach7 - it is at about this point where I take a step back and ask
myself what the heck I'm doing?
Playing games with those who would play games, it isn't long before I let it all go and move on. The stakes are so minuscule in significance that I become embarrassed at my own pettiness. In the meantime however, I will garner a few clicks from it.

Sunnybeach7 - that is the catch 22
...I know the truth, the author knows the truth but with no names mentioned ... who's to say? Deniability is completely established. I used a long departed blogger's poem as an example to play the same game while making my point. If even the game being played is denied (it will be)........ I can develop willful amnesia as well......simply because I didn't mention any names.

TVBlogger - do you think this behaviour strange?
It just struck me as unmanly or weird but I can't put my finger on what is wrong with this.

Nice try but you're wrong on this one
.....and this poem may be from awhile back but this post addresses some poetic efforts that are much more current.

First off, that poem was written many months ago.
Secondly, Ebb and Flow is NOT a man.

nonconformist - that's it, believing in anything must be accompanied by the
ability to believe it.
I've always been amazed by the refusal of those who do believe in God to accept the fact that there are those who cannot. Then of course they feel there is nothing wrong at all in disparaging those who do not believe as they do.

Maybe he's got a problem but why worry about it?
The more you respond to people who want to upset you the more they get out of it. The more you ignore it the less pleased they are. Only my philosophy! Anyway such rudeness is hardly a way to convert anyone to a belief system. In our hearts we can only accept what we believe.

Schatz - the part that always amazes me >>
...is that the very people who are so willing to go to such lengths to criticize those who do not share their beliefs are quite often basket cases themselves. I guess it's easier pointing fingers outwards than inwards.

"as much as chastise and rebuke"
What gives you the right? That is one of the things I hate most about Christians like this one....my basic human right of choice -which their god says he gives me -isn't my right anymore. Suddenly I am just "
in need of some serious spiritual attention." Ahem. Of course, my own spiritual beliefs in nature, which causes me to pray and be thankful daily, as well as spreading a message of happy goodness everywhere I go, isn't
good enough because it doesn't contain Jesus Christ. Oh, man. I don't know how you do it, brother. And let's not forget that it's my intellect that is the problem. "There is a lot of intellectual baggage that people carry which inhibits them from making a decision for Christ." Yeah, I guess you could say that, or maybe it's that I intellectually believe that the entirety of the turbo Christian population is delusional.
Intellectual baggage? LOL

SuccessWarrior - that's the crux of it
According to this logic, if a person does not believe in God they will die cold and unloved.....but what if I die in the dead of summer?

That's pretty messed up on lots of levels
So just because you don't believe in god, no one can love you?
