You should, SilverMoon, it's a wonderful movie.

Book's even better.

I think he deserves to be fired, mikea (after that "performance").

Haven't seen the polar express, yet, and yet...

I still knew what you were referring to.  imagine that...

Good call on Notre Dame
and yeah, I expect Miami's coach to be looking for a new situation soon.

Miami didn't even bother to show up, Corbin ...

I hope Larry Coker has already started planning for his "retirement".

Glad you enjoyed it, Mrs Tanga.

Yeah, that aspect really sucked, Whacky.

Actually, we still use plates and utensils, Troosha ...

It's just that they are more disposable in nature.

Well, maybe Hermione, Ann.

I don't think so, Passion ...

I hear it's really dusty there.

I thought they were more common than they (apparently) are, Tanga ...

I guess it's only during Christmas time.

posted by Mademoiselle on September 17, 2006 at 6:15 AM | link to this | reply

I just did so so, Sarooster...

Although, actually, I did nail the biggest upset.

You were 3-2 on your picks.........Louisville "was"  for real....they had 2 Hiesman trophy candidates and now that have lost both of them to injuries..........Florida won in a squeeker......

Did anyone sound like Tom Hanks on that train?

No hobos? What a bummer!

posted by Whacky on September 17, 2006 at 1:30 AM | link to this | reply

I enjoyed your quote about home left in my blog.  Welcome home and perhaps tonight  you can eat with your fingers straight out of the pot.   There were probably some well dressed hobos on your train ride (they were simply in disguise).

You sound like Harry Potter on the platform.

You've come home to 20 clicks. Congrats.

Wanna go to Vegas???
We could gamble. We could drink. We could pick up hot guyz. You might be on a winning streak.

Hello
Read your previous posts as well. I sometimes giggle at inappropriate times and the more I should stop the more I giggle. Are hobo's on train rooves common and do they also chew their tickets

Mademoiselle,
Your football picks may be all correct!

posted by sarooster on September 16, 2006 at 11:56 AM | link to this | reply

I assumed it was understood they would beat Cincy, Shelly ...

Though the game is currently closer than anticipated (20-7).

What, no Ohio State?

posted by shelly_b on September 16, 2006 at 11:13 AM | link to this | reply

That would be cheating, mikea.

I think they might be the Golden Eagles, or something.

I'll have to ask my brother.

posted by Mademoiselle on September 16, 2006 at 11:09 AM | link to this | reply

Don't take them out, just improve them.

and I forgot Boston College's teams are the Eagles.

BTW:

If my picks go well, I'll post my NFL ones later tonight.

If not, I'll edit them out of this post entirely.

I don't think so, Saul ...

Actually, I'm not so sure it should apply to food, either.

posted by Mademoiselle on September 16, 2006 at 10:49 AM | link to this | reply

Hey, Mademoiselle, does the five second rule apply to dropped tickets?
I like your picks.  Hope they stand.

Hobos aren't the only concern while in public
Check out the picture I posted in My Journal.

That's good to know, YPunday ...
I think.

They're going to get absolutely crushed, Factor ...

I guarantee it.

I'm really good at predicting ... you'll see. (Though I'm even better on NFL games.)

P.S.

Lloyd Carr has to win a big game sometime.

And, any team whose three best players are white (as Notre Dame's are) frightens me.

Hobos like me do take a dialy bath--best we can--and put on clean clothes

Sometimes a good sweater can hide the missing buttons, stains, etc. Thanks for your visit this morning--

I'm cautiously optimistic, mikea18 ...

Though I don't think it's hyperbole to suggest that tomorrow may be their biggest game of the entire season. (Just look at their upcoming schedule.)

Unless, of course, you're referring to Boston College.

Rent "The Polar Express", Mason ...

Or, better yet, go to your local library and check out Chris Van Allsburg's gorgeous book.

And you, SuccessWarrior, clearly sound like someone who's read that book (or, at least, seen the movie).

I'm anticipating a lot of confusion, however.
