It's horrible isn't it? I hate to appear like I live in a shell....but the less I know of the goverments doings, the better I feel. So I don't follow too closely with what they do. They are all self seeking anyway.

Aparthied South Africa was not gr8 for selfesteem. Yet a majority buils it
when they are in something together...it takes self-esteem of the love-liest kind to come up with elements of NONIOLEMNCE in one's struggle against colonialism and segregation (a la Gandhi, King and Nelson Mandela). If I speak honestly, the crackdown on free speech in the USA has hurt my self-esteem more than had the apartheid regime. It hurts me to say this so much....but many Americans never understand the pschic need we have to speak our differences & minds. Most just follow government like sheep....and then we call others Nazis and fascists. I cry about this....so much for self-esteem. Shalom 7 healing to ALL

Good way of looking at it. I can agree, my self esteem is much higher when I'm more spiritually inclined than when not.

How do we measure it? Symptoms of good self-esteem can be a person
who is at peace with self and with others. When my esteem is in God, and not in self, I fit that category.

You're not in a mess, you've just made some bad choices. Everyone does. You will work through it, because you have the ambition and esteem to achieve what you desire.

All my life I was made to feel worthless...it's wasn't therapy that healed me it was true love. You are a wonderful, kind, caring person. You have many great qualities. You should feel proud of your self.
