Good question, good post
We need to get real with this enemy.

It's bloodcurdling arrogance. "Look how compassionate We are."
We've been shown time and time again that diplomacy trumps the safety of our troops.  Being PC is top priority.  A new kind of war indeed.  Mommies and daddies can continue to die in battle as long as we don't offend the international community.

Think, two birds with one stone

We could have done our job and think how easy it would be for them to bury people that are laying in a crater in a cemetary.

Rules of engagement in terrorism.  How stupid is that?

Naut.....

I agree....but there's so much concern on how we treat people......I mean, it's cruel to have a Muslim man interrogated by a woman.......you aren't supposed to humiliate or demean.

I'm sure it's a dilemma for those on the left who one moment moan about failing to go after the Taliban  and Al-Qaeda leadership....yet also argue against violating  "rules of engagement".

Thank heavens they have an extensive background at being Bi-Polar on issues......

Corbin,

of course we should have taken them out! By not having done so, we may well have ensured further American casualties! And reverse the situation for a moment: does anyone really believe they would have held their fire, had they found a group of praying Americans in their gun sights?

We're employing 'rules of engagement' against an enemy who doesn't play by any such rules. In fact, this very photograph led me to make a few notes for a future post.
