Good points, clear, concise and straight forward.
I believe the real definition of love is acceptance for the good and negative aspects of each person. Meeting people where they are and perhaps with kindness, integrity and loyality we can lead them from any ngativity into the peace of positiveness. A friend and I have been slowly moving a mutual friend from constant negative behavior into a positive behavior and it is a joy to watch her change in attitude toward others! Thanks for sharing,

This is correct. It's hard at first, but we all have potential to change our attitudes, with practice.

How very true. It's a shame that we all can't live more in love more of the time.

So many adults forget our beginnings!
As toddlers and preschoolers, we all had to learn and practice sharing, being kind, showing love, controlling temper tantrums, resisting the urge to hit! We become "adults" and gain freedom, far too frequently neglecting the responsibility of control that freedom brings with it. It all takes practice ... and practicing the right attitudes make those attitudes come easier the next time.

One day...
I was in the grocery store and there was a very cranky older woman in front of me in line. I was initially irritated but then began to imagine what her life might be like... perhaps her husband has died, her children have moved, and she is alone in a very fast-paced, loud, irritating world. I have no idea if any of those facts were true, but suddenly I just wanted to give her a hug. Until we have walked in someone else's shoes, it's extremely foolish to judge.

very true
we must also speak what we believe can be true. There is a link between our minds and our words. If we vocalize negative thoughts like ""I'll never get this project done".....our minds begin to believe our words. I am using the power of God's words to stand for a marriage that can only be saved by a miracle. I am believing and claiming God's promises in His word while the world tells me to get a divorce and throw in the towel.....check out my blog "Cindy's Journey" to see what God's gonna do!
