- Go to Can This Person EVER Shut Her Friggin' Pie Hole??? Obviously, Impossible.
SunnyB, yeah, I have and do have these problems but
I've kinda learned to accept them. (Kinda.)
Oh, but yeah, it did feel good to shut her big trap up for a while or at least for a moment.

Wow! I had no idea that you had had such a hard time
having children. That is just horrible. And labor day weekend...were there not doctors on call? Talk about inconsiderate. I can't believe they would put someone through that for so long.

Some people are hard to deal with. It seems they can't ever be happy, no matter how good they have it. I'm glad you were able to "shut her up" if even for a moment.

Really Dave? That's so weird!
Isn't it so strange how different words have different meanings in certain countries? So, like, why is a pie hole different than a cake hole? I mean, they're both desert items and both yummy, too. Of course, cakes and pies actually don't have holes, do they? K, now I'm really confused.

Words are strange. In the UK "pie hole" is quite aggressive and bordering
on the offensive, whilst "cake hole " is affectionate and jokey. Depends on your intonation too, I suppose.

"Pie Hole" - made me laugh. We use that one in the UK. We also say
"Shut your cake hole!"

um...well that would have shut ANYONE up I think.
Good job, the silence was probably a welcome relief. She doesn't sound like someone who would be nice to have in the "family."

Some people aren't ever happy.
I'll bet if you had more conversations like this with her, she'd stop calling. =)

Good work, Young Miss.
It's sad but true, sometimes some folks need to get whapped one good time by a 2x4 to get their attention. And those whose heads are jammed farther up their asses need a bigger whomping than usual.

I used to have a friend like that... *used to* being the key word.
Why can't people just be happy for others, regardless of their own situation?? I will never understand it.
Good for you for shutting her up, though I'm sorry for all your pain.

Tanga,
Glad you think that way in your life and thanks for the
opinion on how I handled her. I'm getting used to having to deal with her in such ways. She's a real piece of work, but she makes my big brother happy, so I guess, **cough cough** I'll keep TRYING to be nice. hehe

Some people can be
really inconsiderate and just think of themselves not worrying that what they say may hurt someone else. I have lots of those people in my life and I just don't let them get to me and ignore people like that. I try to eliminate negative things in my life at the moment and through that I just have to eliminate people who make me negative. I am sorry that you have to deal with a sister in law like that. But I am glad you put her in her place. Good for you!
