It is possible. Some people pick up on these things easily.

I’m not sure what it is about me but I can smell, sense, and feel attraction or love within seconds. Maybe, however, I’m putting out strong signals at the same time. Dunno

That's too funny! Lucky for you to have met such a woman, aye?
I was the same way. I never understood flirting until a few years ago. Live and learn, I guess.

Sunnybeach7 - I can honestly say that a more stunned and oblivious person
than myself probably does not exist in this regard.
When I was single, I never caught on to the little nuances of flirtation, most times with very strong overtures sailing completely over my head. If it were not for the aggressive stance taken by my wife out of complete frustration, it is very likely that I would be single today.

I agree. If people can't express thier feelings to someone, then what is there to be desired?

SB,
I don't know cause I've had mixed experiences with this kinda thing. I've heard from many men that they always have only one thing on their mind, but I don't believe that with everyone. I think gut instinct should play a big part in it. Sometimes, it can't always be perceived, so in that case, I would just take it as it seems at the time. No one can be forced to "be" with someone they don't want to be with. I think that if a man can't just come out and state their personal romantic feelings, then they are obviously hesitant for a reason. Something to take into consideration.

I think it might be a little different for men. I cannot say for sure. I don't take casual flirting too seriously. I like to think that everyone has a right to be left alone and they are free to express themselves. Too many women are afraid to be even remotely expressive, lest their innocent comments and actions be taken as an invitation to go to the next level.

I need a more direct
approach. Due to this my wife is very secure in our marraige. Sometimes she will say "Did you see how that woman was flirting with you?" and my answer "Really? I did not even notice!"

I am fearful of reading too much into an innocent gesture.
