It's Pontius Pilate, and if you're going to make a ridiculous comparison like that at least spell the names right. To answer your second and third questions, I voted for Bush both times and am proud of it. He's still in office because the Constitution gives him a four-year term, barring death or impeachment and conviction, neither of which has happened in spite of liberal wishes to the contrary.

I think that us, Americans are in denial playingthe role of Ponctius Pilate (did I spell his name correctly?) Washing our hands to clear ourselves of guilt. Who did we vote for? Why are hey still in office?
