Well.
I've proven to myself that there is life without Blogit, but I just keep coming back. Cool...now I know what time it is in Britain!

Boy do I ever remember the day that happened...it struck pure fear in my heart...
I also remember that day I went over to ebay to occupy myself and spent a couple hundred dollars. To this day I blame that shopping spree on Blogit..
It's great to have you back...now pass the bottle woman!

Symphony, I haven't the slightest idea. God only promises me the breath I
am breathing. Some days I think that may run out mid inhale. I would go to another of my many addictions I guess. I would miss you and lots of other people.. Guess I would have to come see you.

I could in the time I would save not being on here. Be blessed.

If blogit was no more, I'd be heartbroken...But at least I'd still have my own writing to sustain me...

SYMPHONY, As much as I enjoy this place and as much as I miss bloggers when they leave or take an extended holiday, if it shut down completely, I wouldn't waste my time moping about. There are too many things in this world that are waiting for me while I sit here piddling with my keyboard--too many opportunities waiting and people to meet and greet. But, I do remember those Blogit problems of which you speak and the immediate feeling of loss when they happened.

if enough of us knew what we were doing, we could open up a new
website to replace blogit, with some changes of course, for the better..

I would probably get off my ass and do some REAL writing for a change-
Alot of other sites like this have sprung up bec of the huge success of this one. We should build a web site and start our own Blogit...You can do some web design, can't you????
What would we name it? We could finally meet bec we'd need to have business meetings...woo-hoo!

Blogging is a great way to keep myself honed, and still be social. It works for me.

Yes, I remember the Great Post Explosion of 2004. It was a worrying time.
Some people lost a lot of stuff, but we were all relieved when that comforting home page popped up again, unscathed.
What would we do? Dunno. I blog elsewhere and so do others, but this community has its own life.
I would cry into my coffee and beat the table, sobbing. Maybe not, but it would be a shock.
