for your helpful advice..yeah, probably better steer clear of boric acid because of my 3 year old...seems there haven't been as many with the past couple days being cooler, but i am still remaining vigilant! the exterminator must still come to do something about the colony wherever it is nesting

Boric acid works, but do not use anywhere that little 3YO
hands could touch! ...means pretty much everywhere...lol...my husband once removed the windowsill, put the boric behind it, then resealed. But then they were kitchen ants and we knew where they were coming in... I hate ants....

....try boric acid?....sprinkle outside and on window sills.....worked for me. (I'm not big on living with bugs.) MoonSpirit

I hate ants and fleas and bugs. God I can't wait till winter here in Canada when the only bug I have to worry about then is spiders. LOL

Do you guys have Enviromental health?? Other than that you could try and hire an ant-eater from the local zoo......sorri to hear you are having trouble....try and keep your chin up
