Love your posts...
what a nice glow comes from your whole range of things. I think you had a 3-point dad. In my scoring system, a 1-point dad is just there with his paycheck, a 2-point dad is there and takes part in the family life, but a 3-point dad (like an outside shot in basketball) changes diapers, walks a cranky baby at 2:00 a.m., spends lots of time with the growing kids, and most of all, makes mom happy and secure.
