Blanche, I can't remember, but I know just the other day
I heard "the bees knees" on a tv commercial. I hear or read "the cat's pajamas" now and then. Hell, things like that just stick in my head like peanut butter on the roof of a dogs' mouth and just make me wonder. I can't rid myself of the curiosity of stuff like this. Damn. I could probably use that brain space for more good in the world. **sigh**

Spitfire, aren't both of those, the bee's knees and the cat's pajamas, from
the 20s?  I've read them, but I've never actually heard anybody use them. What have you been reading and what were people doing in the 20s besides the Charleston and the Chachacha?

HolyG,
You can't. They buy their own cause they won't admit to wearing them.

Hhmm, so Mark has solved the Bee's Knees one....I think I want a cat now so I can buy it some tiny   pajamas.

So, like, how's big Jim an' the twin's (and Boof) doin' these days, anyway? Oh, and is the roof still in tact these days, too? hehe

No, fionajean! You can't watch for her!
But if you insist, you have to do it covertly! They HATE being spied on. Seriously. Sleep with one eye open.

I've yet to catch my cat
wearing PJ's - I'll watch her before bedtime though - thanks for the tip. As for bee's knees - I'd avoid getting close enough to check, so who knows where that came from.
