Dreams about being naked in public are dreams where you are displaying fears that you aren't prepared for something...life, work, school, etc.
This is how your subconscious 'acts out' your inner fears.

I think
we have all had dreams where we were naked in public and there nightmare quality is its own commentary on our self-consciousness.
