If I remember correctly, I believe that on my last birthday, I got a card from AARP informing me that I was too old to become a member.

I'm looking forward to my next...
My son from Seattle is coming to help celebrate. He hasn't been back to Quiet Town in ten years -- something about its whitebred nature, I think. And besides, who wouldn't choose Seattle's more temperate climate and lively "scene?" There's been college, any number of interesting jobs. But Quiet Town has changed, too. He may not recognize it. He's 34 now. Amazing, since I'm just coming up on #39... :)
