Even though I was born and raised here, I never felt like Michigan was my home.  I realized with this trip how desperately I miss the south.

NOW you tell me!!!  I do like Florida, I always have.  I wouldn't want to live there too long the way I drive LOL and the way so many others drive .  But it is wonderful to visit.

I keep forgetting to pick up the ginger, after the past couple of days, I realized just how rotten I have been feeling and it's at the top of my shopping list.

I like Florida but it's one of those places that I prefer to visit versus live.  Besides, whoever heard of 90 degree weather in freaking September.  I would sooooooooo miss the change of seasons besides, I think after this trip Carl and I have decided the Carolina's are where we are headed after Pam graduates.

I can't say I was highly impressed with Georgia with what little we saw.  Dirty bathrooms and rude people, not quite my ideal of the genteel south to say the least.

glad to hear you are enjoying your vacation!

When I first spent time in Florida I felt like I would never leave.

I've always enjoyed my time there each year working the hurricanes and really DO plan to settle there eventually.

You guys can come out and see me on your vacations - woo-hoo on the naked man in your bed...LOL!

Hay fever is the least of your worries. Do you know this man? Is he a Floridian or Michigander? Use caution around naked men you don't know. If in fact he is Carl in disguise, give in to complete abandonment..... Have total fun! We miss you and look forward to pics.

Try ginger tea. It really works. The ragweed is pollenating here right now.

Bel

Hey there!

I had forgotten all about the Law on I-75..........oh yes indeed.....I had my share of tickets on that road!

I use to drive from the panhandle of FL to Tampa......about a 6 hour trip every weekend.......one year I almost got my license taken away I had so many tickets. I had to go to driving school and the whole nine yards. Those guys don't mess around. I never got out of one ticket either! They practically had the whole ticket filled out by the time they reached my window as they asked me to sign and hand over my license.

Glad to hear that you got some fresh air.....so, is Florida growing on you? It sure is a nice place that is for sure.

Can't wait to see the pics.

I hope that you and Carl got some quality time together. So, wishing for your dream and actually getting it.....was it all that it was imagined to be? Did it meet your expectations?
