Lot's of Justi in here but no 'justice' in the situation at all. It's nasty here too, and we don't even know where most of the illegals are.

"So much junk" for sure, Justi!  Thanks for sharing.

So, how are you?  Fine, I hope.  I'm going away tomorrow for a few days.  I'll be in touch when I return.  Stay well, my friend, and God bless.

Good letter
Makes the point very clear.

I love it. Well said.

The school my children must go to is not performing due to the now 30% population of non-english speaking children. They are stretched for teachers who can teach these poor children. In the meantime, I, the taxpaying soon to be divorcee, is looking for another "zip code" that will zone my kids in a better school district that is not dealing with this problem. My choices are to reduce my standard of living (housing) or get additional income to pay for private school because the school that is 5 minutes away is housing a significant migrant population.

Yikes!
But then we also have burglars suing for damages when they get hurt during a heist . . . and winning. Case in Redding, California years ago had a burglar getting a bunch of money after he was injured when  the skylight he was trying to jimmy open broke. If he hadn't been trying to rob the house, he wouldn't have gotten hurt!

Justi, I guess that if those are my only two choices, I will have to say, "so much junk".

Rif Daws, Nautikos, lustorlove
Thank you all. It seems we are in agreement. It is the callous manner in which we are expected to accept thr trampling of our laws and them telling us what is legal, sending our money back to Mexico. It is as Nautikos says it is an invasion and we are paying for it.

PS my family came from Sweden hundreds of years ago and my mom never knew a word of Swedish.

get out
As long as they leave the house as they found it and not destroy it and refuse to get a job to help pay their way.  I might  not like to clean my house but I live in it legally and dont push my language on others.

I don't mind people coming to America AS LONG AS...
they realize this is America and not their former country, they come legally, and they expect to learn English (or at least American!).

Justi,
I completely agree with the sentiments expressed in that letter, which is why, incidentally, I no longer speak of the illegal immigration from Mexico, but the Mexican invasion of the US...

Passionflower, my folks came here from somewhere,
but they came legally, was so proud to be here they learned the llanguage and obeyed the laws and didn't expect the government to give them a hand out not even a hand up. Some of your family were the original peoples displaced by hoards of mine and other's ancestors who came in, will it ever stop?

We will always have these sorts of issues here in America.
So many nations are crap to live in so that means people want to leave places like Cuba and Mexico.
