bel,
I'd love have some of that Florida heat, it's gettin' chilly around here! And I hope you managed to salvage some of that beer! It'd be a shame to have it all go to waste!
And never mind the gators, beware of the sharks! And have a good time!

Bel, it's very cool here in Ohio. I've had to wear a jacket yesterday and today. It's been raining constantly and it's darn cool. It will warm up again, I know that, but I don't like it much. Have fun in FL and don't let any crabs nibble on your toes.

Glad that you made it safely. Hope that you get the right clothing soon so you do not melt!
I hope you and Carl have a wonderful time together and that you also get to walk and dance on the beach barefoot
If you think Jai Ali is big in Tampa........people are absolutely bonkers over it in Miami.....that is where it was big first! My Dad use to bet on it all of the time. I use to give him numbers to bet on for luck.
Ybor City is a great historic place to see in Tampa as well, gotta try the cuban bread, cigars and a restaurant called......The Spaghetti Warehouse.

Oh yummy! We eat Calzones and Stromboli alot-
We have about 5 good Italian restaurants in our neighborhood...There's a "Sweet Basil" across the street. If you ever visit we'll eat lunch over there.

are you kidding? You didn't know that it's still summer in Florida?? LOL
Jai Alai is like raquetball, played in a court but they play with these scoop type things.... like this...

People bet on it... like the horse races or dog track... but probably only because they have nothing better to do.

OMG! I can't believe you didn't realize about the weather...
How funny! You won't need any long sleeve shirts...mostly just shorts and tee-shirts and sandals.
Are you having fun yet???????
