Oh my word! What a crazed night you had!
Odd, isn't it, how we can incorporate reality into our dreams -- the psyche's very own coping mechanisms, I guess.

when i hear voices it's a reminder that i've fallen asleep with the tv on.
i'm in agreement with .dave., it was a very sweet thing you did, closing the window.

Sometimes but if they tell me to kill my boss, I try
to ignore them. Also, my alarm on my phone says, "It's time to wake up." so I often hear that in my dreams.

A CNN reporter may wish she'd been dreaming. She recently awakened a worldwide audience when her microphone was open & picked up her very personal conversation.

Yes, I have
I was caring for a dying musician. On the night he died, I was taken into a lucid dream and the awoken by a Presence who came for him. I found out in the morning that he had died at the moment I was awoken.

I feel peaceful after reading that. You were very principled to gently
close the window. I just know I would have carried on eavesdropping.

I do not hear voices at night
but my wife certainly does. You see I speak in my sleep and it seems my son has picked this trait up as well. You had a glimpse into someone else's life and it makes one think of all the personal trials occurring all around us. Sometimes it makes our problems seem quite trivial in comparison.

I did, just the other night. I never found out where the sounds were coming
from, but it sounded like it was either under my bed, or on the other side of the wall right outside my house. It could have been a figment of my imagination, though. LOL
