Exactly Xeno. Some of these people have stopped looking.
I think that's a big mistake. Like you said, they aren't even following their own rulebook.

Passion, I disagree. I think that god is bound by the same laws as us
and he evolves. If he didn't we would pass him in knowledge eventually.

THE FIRST COMMANDMENT
"THOU SHALT NOT HAVE ANY OTHER GODS BEFORE ME"
recognizes other gods.
just that they cannot be put above YHVH (whoever YHVH is).
yes god evolves -- many of us recognize that
and the recognition of god evolves, ergo the religions of the world.
we never got it right in the first place -- just an inkling -- and there have been discoveries.
we haven't got it right yet; yet -- many feel that it was right a millennium ago -- many feel that it was right a couple of centuries ago.
regarding knowledge, "knock and the door will be opened; seek and you shall find; ask and it shall be given to you." You don't knock, you don't seek, you don't ask, you will not receive. People that have ceased seeking will not find.

I don't agree that God evolves.
The planet, man, all of existence does change and evolve. We can easily see that happening all around us. But God is constant and unchanging. I think he said it best when he said,
"I am who I am."

SuccessWarrior - if there is only one God and people worship him in their
own way.
Somebody needs to fly over to India and inform the Hindus of this.
