I would love to know
Your views on art. If you ever get the chance to write them up. Don't feel bad about crashing in front of the tv, I do it too...

Wish I was like you

If I didn't know how to turn the TV on than I wouldn't waist my time watching re-runs of old sticoms at 2 a.m.

also: thanks for the comment.

Geez, you're older than I!

I remember Nagy. Art Linkletter. Jack Lalanne. The Soupy Sales Show. Beanie and Cecil (the puppet show as well as the cartoon).

I still have a rotary-dial color TV we bought new at Monkey Ward's in 1987. Used it for a Commodore 64 monitor for seven years. Son had it in his room as a teen. Use it to show Girls Scout videos now.

My dad made us the first UHF convertor on or block, and we watched bull fights in black and white....waste of bandwidth.

Power of TV?!?
Good old John Nagy!! LOL! My brother did the same thing as you did with the TV! I remember it well. My husband claims The Galloping Gourmet inspired him to become a chef.
