I don't think every religion worships a different "God". I think they are all worshipping the same "God". It's just that one's idea of "God" changes as one becomes more spiritually aware.

what exists in the mind is real?
then if all ideas of god are swept away, what is left in the mind?
another god(s)?
maybe what we can see around us.
do you realize that we would then return full circle to the original concept of a deity? -- that which we observe directly?
would that be so bad after all?
