Then why is he on the outside looking in?
Oh, and by the way, since the popular vote is all that matters, then thanks for acknowledging the legitimacy of President Bush's re-election. 
He did, after all, win by over 3,000,000 votes, compared to the Sprint Guy's measley 500,000 four years prior.

Last time I checked, A. Gore received half a million more popular votes in the 2000 election than GWB.
