No, nonconformist, you're not too fussy. You know what you like. Same
here. I know what I like. I know what I don't like. To paraphrase a great adage: I don't know much about advertising, but I know what I don't like.

Right you are, Pat B. My mother just recently had a run-in with a couple
of Witnesses. They weren't open to her views and left. Got reciprocity?

It's all about perspective, TAPS. I'll just have to deal with it.

No I haven't seen them as I live in England....
...but your sentiment amuses me. "Got originality ?" - I like it! I really cannot stand advertisements unless they are really clever ones or at least about something deserving of interest. We have Sky TV and my husband watches it, but generaly I can't stand to watch more than the news due to the endless commercial breaks; it drives me mad and completely ruins any decent programme. (of which there are comparatively few!) Maybe I'm just too fussy!!??

About "got milk" --
it's an ironic statement to those of us with lactose intolerance... I have a similar allergic reaction to the TV ads for Jesus, and to various missionaries knockin' at my door, etc. Most interesting is that the Witness callers expect me to listen to their spiel, but when I express my view, you can see the windows in their eyes slamming shut.

saul_relative, I guess that I'm not very observant where billboards are concerned. I never pay attention to them because I am always fascinated with the loveliness of any nature around: the changes in the skies, the trees, wild flowers, etc. I'm sorry that those things on the billboards irritate you. I'm sure that there are probably a lot of people who are irritated by them. Others think they are good. I'm sure it is all perspective.
