You know, I hate to say this...
But I believe you missed my point entirely. I wanted readers to focus on the child-abuse idea inherent in the lyrics of such songs, not on the "sad breakup" aspect of the lyrics. Such lyrics - even if they merely imply that child molestation is actually "love" in the same sense as that between consenting adults - are inherently illicit. They certainly connote social approval for molestation by equating it with genuine love between consenting adults.
