Hi, Mademoiselle,
Thanks again, for the much needed smile.  :)

actually, mad, she gave me my money before she died. good thing too
'cause it turns out she threw her will out and i doubt i would have scored so well, not that i have any comments regarding controlling siblings or anything.

How did she feel about that, fourcats?

Did she cut you out of her will?

posted by Mademoiselle on August 25, 2006 at 12:06 PM | link to this | reply

At least you don't have to live with her, Talion.

Needless to say, it adds another level of awkwardness.

when i was performing stand-up comedy, my mother asked me to keep
her out of it.  i burst out laughing, saying, "sorry!  you're the opening bit!"

Mademoiselle

Though I wold never write things like this about my family, I haven't told my mother about my blogging out of fear of her "editorial concerns."

Hi, Steeler fan ... and good morning to you.

The wait shouldn't be very much longer, Tanga.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 25, 2006 at 7:42 AM | link to this | reply

Just stopped in to say hi and see what the latest was.....I will wait for
the full details later...lol

Read you later then.

Hopefully very soon, Rcky ...

In fact, I have a whole mess of stories/anecdotes awaiting "script approval".

Yet another reason I should be a much better blogger once I return to school: my mother will no longer be able to prevent me from posting.

Tsk Tsk Madame......is that anyway to talk about Granny?
So when can we expect the full story? LOL

I'm currently in negotiations, Ann ...

To try to put a permanent end to this issue.

Nothing more to read? I'm disappointed.

I think it would have been a brilliant post, too, fourcats ...

It's a real shame.

stop - you're killing me! the smell. hahahahaha

posted by fourcats on August 24, 2006 at 11:36 PM | link to this | reply

Perhaps so, Whacky ...

Though the odor I'm referring to is more like Vick's Vap-O-Rub mixed with Ben Gay.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 24, 2006 at 11:34 PM | link to this | reply

Humm...my grandma smelled of lavender...and old lace.
The other grandma used some perfume that was realy pungent. Are all grandmas like that?
Good early warning system though.

I have a friend who's a stripper exotic dancer ...

and you wouldn't believe how much money she makes a night.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 24, 2006 at 10:53 PM | link to this | reply

I think it was because 1) I saw taxis everywhere.
2) Someone falsely told me they made a lot of money.

posted by bandanafish on August 24, 2006 at 10:52 PM | link to this | reply

I don't think I could, like, do a public performance, or anything.

But I wouldn't mind taking a class.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 24, 2006 at 10:51 PM | link to this | reply

I would be too shy to even "sway" slightly in front of anybody.

posted by bandanafish on August 24, 2006 at 10:49 PM | link to this | reply

Because you'd get to meet interesting people?

posted by Mademoiselle on August 24, 2006 at 10:49 PM | link to this | reply

interesting...
I wanted to be a taxi driver when I was about 12, and my parents kept on making fun of me.

posted by bandanafish on August 24, 2006 at 10:48 PM | link to this | reply

I'm not sure, exactly ...

There's just something about it.

I saw Suhaila Salimpour one time. And she just seemed so exotic and beautiful.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 24, 2006 at 10:47 PM | link to this | reply

yes. of course.

So, why do you like bellydancing?

I felt the heat, too. Still feelin' it!

posted by bandanafish on August 24, 2006 at 10:44 PM | link to this | reply

Whew!
Suddenly getting a little hot in here.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 24, 2006 at 10:44 PM | link to this | reply

So could you rephrase the belly dancing question?

posted by Mademoiselle on August 24, 2006 at 10:43 PM | link to this | reply

Oh. damn. Do something then! Yes you can do that.

posted by bandanafish on August 24, 2006 at 10:43 PM | link to this | reply

She doesn't look like me at all.
Everybody thinks we are friends until they know us.

TMI! TMI!
You know, my mother reads this?

posted by Mademoiselle on August 24, 2006 at 10:41 PM | link to this | reply

Does your sister look like you?
Cause Michelle looks nothing like me.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 24, 2006 at 10:39 PM | link to this | reply

Possibly a combination of the two ...
A person can get carried away, though. Like in "A Beautiful Mind".

posted by Mademoiselle on August 24, 2006 at 10:38 PM | link to this | reply

I don't know whether she's crazy or too smart.

posted by bandanafish on August 24, 2006 at 10:37 PM | link to this | reply

Bratz. Those dolls? Aghhh...
Well, my sister makes like, weigh charts (she's skinny!), or when she reads something at work, she'd just make charts out of those information. She really enjoys it.

posted by bandanafish on August 24, 2006 at 10:36 PM | link to this | reply

She just makes charts completely out of the blue? Like, for no reason?

posted by Mademoiselle on August 24, 2006 at 10:33 PM | link to this | reply

She's a lot of fun, actually.

She mostly talks about stupid stuff, though.

Oh, and she still plays with "Bratz". Seriously.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 24, 2006 at 10:32 PM | link to this | reply

trading, selling stocks, funds, stuffs like that.
She has a weird thing, though. My sister loves making charts, graphs, and she highlights something, and then underlines it again.

posted by bandanafish on August 24, 2006 at 10:32 PM | link to this | reply

Wow, she's 15!
I haven't talked to a 15 year old for a long time. Is it fun to talk to her? What do they (young people) talk about usually?

posted by bandanafish on August 24, 2006 at 10:30 PM | link to this | reply

Oh, and who doesn't like expensive "stuffs"?

posted by Mademoiselle on August 24, 2006 at 10:30 PM | link to this | reply

What kind of a broker?

posted by Mademoiselle on August 24, 2006 at 10:29 PM | link to this | reply

Are you here yet?
So, if you are not here yet, I can talk to myself quite fine, actually. She's 25, a broker, talkative, and likes expensive stuffs.

posted by bandanafish on August 24, 2006 at 10:29 PM | link to this | reply

I'm sure I'll do so eventually, ShutterCat ...

I'm just afraid she'll cut me out of the will.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 24, 2006 at 10:29 PM | link to this | reply

Come on Mademoiselle
Do the Braveheart thing

Cry FREEDOM and write that post!

posted by AlienInsomniac on August 24, 2006 at 10:27 PM | link to this | reply

That's what I'd like to know, Passion.

It's partly explained two posts previous; apparently, she's just sick of what she believes is a very inaccurate portrayal of the quality of my life.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 24, 2006 at 8:38 PM | link to this | reply

Hey, T ...

I'll be  very momentarily.

(Sorry about the delay.)
