I watch both the History Channel/Discovery Channel/PBS and cartoons, Factor.

So, I suppose I'm a well-rounded individual.

Eight year olds should be watching cartoons
not Modern Marvels of engineering... it can be very dry... Spike he is not allowed to watch!  lol...

I don't see what's so scary about that, Factor?

I mean, would you prefer he was watching Spike TV?

posted by Mademoiselle on August 25, 2006 at 7:09 AM | link to this | reply

Ah, I am watching the History Channel right now.
Or rather, my 8 YO is watching it and I am blogging to stay awake...  Geez, 8 and watching this...what happens when he's older, PBS?  Aaaaauuugh! Joking...

I don't quite follow what you're saying, Passion ...

Kumquat?

That's very nice of you to say, SmartDog ...
I've always enjoyed his, um ... stuff that he does.

Thank you so much, marieclaire.
I'm not sure. Probably has something to do with not getting enough sleep.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 24, 2006 at 8:30 PM | link to this | reply

Well, Corbin, it does tend to work on a one-to-one basis.

I think you've also outdone yourself in making cryptic, thinly veiled references to our personal relationship, Bandana.

You may feel that way now, Troosha ...

Thank you, A + B ...

Btw, how come you guys have suddenly stopped mentioning which one of you is speaking?

It gives your comments a slightly creepy "Glenn or Glennda" type feel.

Talion, I suspect I might particularly miss the upcoming games "Kingdom Hearts 2" and "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance".

posted by Mademoiselle on August 24, 2006 at 8:21 PM | link to this | reply

Yes, well, as you know, Bandana ...

Some of those issues persist even in modern times.

Madem, that is a really good idea presented by Flower of Passion. Go for it!!! MoonSpirit

I think you should make up stuff about your family to write...
Give them all personalities...maybe Vegetable Personality...Your mom's a Kumquat, your brother's a radish, etc.

Madam
I'm almost certain you are Kurt Vonnegut's grand-daughter.

Sublime statements.

I would still be in France... the most powerful country in the world.
I'd probably be a poor peasant stuck in the mud. How do you dream up such things??? what do they feed you in America? My brain is teased by your  whacky stories. keep them rolling.

It couldn't be a defense mechanism......
If so, France would be the strongest country in Europe.........

p.s. unless that b.o. serves as some kind a defense mechanism

of some sort... by someone...

(I have very clearly outdone myself in trying to please you...)

Mademoiselle

I would miss deodorant and toothpaste much more than TV, especially when interacting with my fellow citizens. Video games, however, are another story.

posted by Talion on August 24, 2006 at 1:58 PM | link to this | reply

I think the worst thing would be having no air conditioning.
and then no television, and then no me and you. Oh, one more, and having to live with bad body odor all the time.

I was thinking more along the lines of "Hey, Mickey", myself, SuccessWarrior.

It was a joke, Moon.

Mademoiselle, I don't know anything about sports and I didn't even know that football existed during the Viking era. The Gary Larson I refer to authored the Far Side cartoon series. MoonSpirit

Moon, is Gary Larson that guy who used to play quarterback for the Vikings?

The one with the "bowl haircut"?

Cause if so, I hardly see the comparison.

But how could you miss them, Mason ...

if you never knew they even existed?
