Ask anyone to change their ways...
the Mormons were driven out of Missouri by the locals (not necessarily other Church going folks...but pro-slavery residents did not like their abolitionist ideals.)
I think that's how you've escaped, you point out the inconsitencies in religions, but in a humorous way instead of telling people to change or burn in hell...or whatever the threat of the week is.
