Looks like you may have to wait a little longer, Tanga.

Thank you so much for your concern, BlackPearl.

Maybe so, Kingmi ...

but, still.

That's a good one, fourcats ...
I'm sure my mother would see the hilarity as well.

Yikes, kidnykid!

You aren't actually implying you're glad she's dead, are you?

I wouldn't say that about my mother, even if I had her in my dead pool ... and, desperately needed the points!

Mademoiselle,
Just checking here to see if you survived your mom's day off.  :)

mademoiselle, your mother is merely showing her love and concern for you.
And judging from what I
have read she has a legitimate concern! Lol

I didn't know about you and Bandanafish...but I think it's sweet.

We have several Blogit love affairs going on right now. I'm still seeing that guy I met on here that I shouldn't be seeing (if you know what I mean...don't tell your Mom--she wouldn't approve)--

I wish you two at least 3 or 4 days of great happiness. That's about the length of most of these internet affairs.

At the risk of sounding rude, this post makes me glad my mother has departed this mortal coil - she used to do the same thing, and it drove me crazy. (I still can't stand it - and the toaster oven and microwave are right behind me in the kitchen, where the computer is, so people are constantly over here looking over my shoulder. Grrr.)

Actually, Troosha, my mother lives here, so ...

Anyways, thanks for the cartoon. It reminds me of a post I did a while back involving schoolyard humiliations.

Not the mother visiting LOL

If yours is anything like my life, I go into quite a tizzy when good old Mom is due to arrive.  Hope it's a fruitful visit.  You're always providing me with a chuckle so today......:

She went to the pet shop, but I had to go, too.

Oh, thanks a lot, FoF!

Now, I'm never going to be able to erase that image from my memory banks.

I think I'm going to throw up.

It wasn't your grandmother in the bubble wrap was it? <<shudder>>

Soooo then, my mother says:

"You were going to write about your grandmother, weren't you?"

I was like, "Um, no!"

I swear, she must be f*cking psychic, or something.

Fortunately, Mason, some secrets still remain buried.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 22, 2006 at 11:33 AM | link to this | reply

It sure does, Cosy ...

I had to just quickly scratch it out on some paper, so I could, at least, post it as soon as she leaves.

Um, who's doing what now, Ben?

Oh, and btw, I wasn't arguing about the contest! It's just that Talion did post about "Snakes on a Plane", and SYMPHONY does have a birthday blog.

I thought that was the sisterhood of women. James is indispensable. Nothing really changes.

Here's the prize.

Thanks for the solution.
