I check the nickname history too. I think bloggers prefer familiar names/ blogs than new ones.

I only recognized Random Acts of Kindness, authored by Ariala. (I don't particularly care to know her real name. I have a policy that when I quote a blogger, I use his or her Blogit "handle" exclusively, in order to give that blogger some sense of privacy while allowing others to benefit from his or her wisdom.)

There's nothing wrong with using your name in the title, but I consider it a bit redundant. Most times the significance of a blog's title isn't apparent by reading one or two posts. Only after becoming familiar with the author does it make sense.

Actually...I knew almost all of those. I just hadn't been reading much of anyone for awhile, so when I saw the name Julia in the comments section, I didn't recognize it at. So I clicked on it and then found this blog, which I immediately associated with you.
Maybe Quirkyalone is off gallavanting in the Middle of Somewhere... :)
