That's pretty extensive, and with a lot of detail, too. I have a recent tattoo, and now that I see yours, mine seems really wimpy. I figure if we can stand bikini waxes... Tattoo's? Bah! Anyway, very nice work. :)

It's on the lower back where it's mostly muscle and bone which makes it painful. Once he got to filling in the color it didn't hurt but the outline was very painful. I was also told this man has a very heavy hand with the needles so I suspect that was part of it as well.

Amazing what you can do with digital pix.
Great tattoo - I don't think I could have sat still for so long though. I have the Egyptian Eye of Horus on my shoulder - Did you find it incredibly painful? I was rather surprised - it wasn't all that bad for me and I'm a real baby when it comes to needles. (They did say though that colour hurts more.)
