Right now, it's dark out. I see street lights shining on my
neighboring buildings.  :)

Pelicans? Wow...sounds beautiful. You must be somewhere south? We don't have pelicans up here, and I've only had a chance to see some a couple of times.

if i move the blinds....what i see is the front yard which then moves
on to the road and then theres a little lawn with a grove of trees(patch more like it) and then there is a pond which sometimes is the home of those really big birds that stand in the water and have those big beaks and eat fish...anyways..and then to the side is the driving range...and then a row of more houses...pretty exciting.

Sunny

I see two ancient almond trees, laden with fruit, framing a long vista down a valle, with semi-cliffs on each side, planted with olive tres and topped with grey boulders and crags. The grey gree retam bushes sway in the gentle breeze like dancers, the feathery frond laden with tiny green fruits

There is a string of tiny lights in an urbanisacion across Lake Vinuela, and although it's misty beyond that, one can just barely make out the horizon ; the glittering Mediterranean, and on some days one can see the Riff mountains in Morocco.

I live in Paradise.

I can see thru the patio door that's in the living room.
It's a French Door. There's a patio with redwood enclosure. On the patio there's a very tall tomatoe plant.

BC..ok....relatively small then from my point of view

posted by Afzal_Sunny7 on August 20, 2006 at 8:27 AM | link to this | reply

Sunny... I don't know if it's big or not... everything is relative. LOL
It's big enough for little league games.... but too small for football, except the two-hand-touch kind.  I enjoy watching the guys play in the fall.  Sometimes I join them.  LOL

afzal....I see...sounds interesting. Is it beautiful?
Mostly we can't walk on our roofs here. There are some exceptions, however.

I see my front yard... the street... and a park on the other side...

There are usually any number of sports going on, soccer, baseball... or people walking their dogs...

Right now, amazingly enough, it's empty... but it did rain all morning.

I see
a lush green well kept lawn with a big hole in the middle where I am busy building a swimming pool. Past that I see african bush consisting of beautiful large trees and the odd chicken house roof.

I see a roof garden maitained by my neighbour's daughter. It is nice and
lovey.

Usually...
The lawn, maple trees, the road, the creek, the neighbors barn and the mountain in back of it.  There are horse and cows in his field that runs part way up the mountain.  Often wild turkeys and deer spot the hillside.

Well, it depends on which window, obviously.

The most striking image I can see from any of my bedroom windows, is this incredibly creepy playground in the backyard down below. I'm afraid to even look out there past midnight.

It's fascinating to think that all around us
there's an invisible world we can't even see.
I'm speaking, of course,
of the World of the Invisible Scary Skeletons.
