as always! Your wife's story reminds me of another one, where a woman not too far from here called the cops at night because she had spotted a panther in her backyard (we
do have a zoo about, oh, 20 miles or so away, but panthers roam widely...) Anyway, the cops showed up in a hurry...the 'panther' turned out to be a large black pussycat...

Embarrasing but funny. I once called the fire department upon seeing "smoke" emerging from an apartment building uptown. It was steam from a dryer vent.
