I think a child
has a duty to help their parents as much as they can when the time comes. Well done!

Thank you for sharing this post with me.  Your parents were so lucky to have you for a daughter!!  If my parents ever needed my help, I'd do it in a minute!!  Even for my dad....(He's now in the slow and painful process of dying from Emphysema.)

You're absolutely right to say that the medical community should pay more attention to their patients and their families.  Giving all people they care for the same medications can be extremely dangerous.  If you ask me, these days medicine is all about the money.

I'm so happy to call you my friend!!  God bless you.  And Bo, too!!  Give him a pet for me...

Don't know what I'll do if and when I need help. My daughters are too far away and my sons, well ya can forget about calling them.

Your dad and I were alike luv, I have all of Clint Eastwood's movies, Dirty Harry and all the westerns.

Even though my mom is in a nursing home now...
I still feel like the parent.

My dad had cancer in '89, and would fall down a lot. I was picking him up quite regularly. Eventually, we had to put him in a rest home. Very sad.
