Quit distracting me!

Whacky, what are you, drunk?

Me, too, Penguin ...

In fact, I think Animal Planet should do a remake of "Picnic at hanging Rock", also.

I don't see how he could be, Passion ...

I mean he gets just about everything he asks for.

Nice try, markng ...

And thank you for the lovely compliment.

It's pretty hard to tell, BlackPearl ... mostly just a lot of meowing and chirping.

I guess it's primarily gibberish.

It probably depends on what the cat was doing with his paws, Mason.

You're very considerate, Aaron.

I really think a feline production of Psycho would be great.
Your cat sounds bored.

posted by Passionflower on August 17, 2006 at 8:55 PM | link to this | reply

LOL!

I'd watch too, if I am the cat, I mean the running water of course.  I am going to get one of those camera--as-a-cat thingies from ebay, now where didn't you say you live?

This is the best post for a long while!

Mademoiselle,

What does he "say" when he's advising you about your shower etiquette?  Dare I ask?

And sorry.  No ideas about where to find the pig blood.  Wow, how sinister, but I guess he has it coming.  :)

I have heard about cats liking running water
The last time I flew they featured sort of a small waterfall drinking-dish for cats in the Sky catalog.  I guess cat's like it, but you won't catch me paying $50 (or whatever it was) for that when they could just drink out of the toilet.  I'll even flush it for them, so they get moving water.

Hahaha yup, but I gave you some factual info anyway! LOL

posted by RckyMtnActivist on August 17, 2006 at 2:13 PM | link to this | reply

It was more of a rhetorical question, actually.

Well you asked! LOL

No, but I'm Italian and you know those hairy Italians! LOL
All that licking is bound to get some of those hairs loose!

How come, Rcky?

Do you shed?

Hahaha Madame........I couldn't handle the furballs!

posted by RckyMtnActivist on August 17, 2006 at 1:39 PM | link to this | reply

Thank you, Rcky ...
And if that's what they are thinking, I'd have to say, I tend to agree.

Hahaha Madame....my cats do the same thing. It make me wonder what is

going through their little brains watching me shower. Maybe they are thinking, "sheesh, why does she go through all that trouble when all she has to do is lick herself clean?" LOL    Another funny and enjoyable post!

I think you may mean, "a mind-bloggling retort", Bhaskar.ing.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 17, 2006 at 1:14 PM | link to this | reply

Mademoiselle, never again i'll take any cudgels with a cat
A very mind-blogging retort.

posted by Bhaskar.ing on August 17, 2006 at 12:27 PM | link to this | reply

Probably so, Troosha ...

I'm worried that, one of these days, my "little" baby is going to slip, and fall in when I'm taking a bath. And, who knows how he'll react to getting soaked? I'll probably end up being, like, disfigured, or something.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 17, 2006 at 9:05 AM | link to this | reply

Who knew!?!
I have a cat (kitten) who has decided to do precisely the same thing. Yesterday, however, she knocked over a somewhat delicate candle and holder on her way to her viewing post.  Damn - it broke.  I think cats think they are smaller than they actually are.

posted by Troosha on August 17, 2006 at 8:52 AM | link to this | reply

I'm not surprised that would be the case, Bel ...

Maximilian has tremendous difficulty grasping the concept of window glass.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 17, 2006 at 7:47 AM | link to this | reply

Mine likes to lay on the edge of the tub
when I take a bath.  of course he does have to try to walk on water occasionally, which never has the end result he expects.

Oh, and also, to answer your question, my cat is as spoiled as spoiled can be ...

In fact, I think he has more personal freedoms here, than I do.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 17, 2006 at 7:01 AM | link to this | reply

I'm doing well, dear ...

And, you?

posted by Mademoiselle on August 17, 2006 at 6:58 AM | link to this | reply

you know?

animals think they can do that because they are animals. But, they really shouldn't/can't.

I think they get too much privilege, it's just not fair anymore.

p.s. how's your morning?

posted by bandanafish on August 17, 2006 at 6:57 AM | link to this | reply

Pretty much, Corbin ...

It's not just with me, though. My mother, also.

Though, curiously enough, not with my brother.

No, Ann, thank you (for your delightful puzzle game).

posted by Mademoiselle on August 17, 2006 at 6:52 AM | link to this | reply

The cat must be an expert in that area. Lol.

Congrats, you've won. Your prize is in. See you again in the new questions. Thanks for your continual aupport.

However, Bhaskar.ing, I'd have to say it like this:

вы услышали любопытство можете убить кот?

Seeing as, my cat only speaks Russian.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 17, 2006 at 5:33 AM | link to this | reply

Mademoiselle
You may pls warn your cat by saying, "Hey catty, Curiosity can kill a cat, haven't you heard?" Then he will not watch. Ok?

posted by Bhaskar.ing on August 17, 2006 at 5:25 AM | link to this | reply

I really can't say, Ann ...

We've only ever had a male cat.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 17, 2006 at 5:19 AM | link to this | reply

Male cats are voyeurs? Or all cats are?

LOL, my cats do the same thing...it is a bit unnerving...two days ago I

showered with a spider.  I was thinking of doing my typical headline ploy and naming it, "Today I showered with a stranger."

Stay safe and fur free
