Even smaller my Carl is from the U.P as well. If your sister in law's husband was in Iraq last year, then I am guessing that he was with the same unit as my Carl.

I am still happy you two are back together again. My daughter still awaits her hubby to return for the 2nd time from Iraq. She says, "I can't wait until he is here with me and can hold my hand again." When she see's other couples walking together, it makes her so lonely for her man. Stay happy. It is wonderful for both of you!

No he is not out completely. He is back to reserve status. Which means he shows up once a month and two weeks a year. He could be called back up before he retires in 08 but I am refusing to think about that too much.
He is back to his civilian job and I have had some really great things happen over the past month. Life is as normal as it can be for anyone LOL!
