one time i was babysitting a seven year old who fell and skinned his knee,
he was doing the shriek and bawl.  i took one look at the knee and said "oh man, you're going to have SUCH a great scab, i'm so jealous.  i LOVE having scabs like that!"  that shut him right up.  it never occured to him that an owie could be a good thing and he spent the rest of the day showing it off.

Nana

Little ones are so dramatic aren't they? I can understand the tears though, I've had one under my nail since last Saturday and the doctor is taking it out in the morning..BUT...I didn't cry!

Hope your getting lots of rest and as I said in the cafe...I fell asleep again. Don't know why...

Nanaroo, that must have been quite a drama!
I don't have kids either, so I assume when I hear weeping and wailing that it's something serious.  Apparently not.  I hope our class is going good other than that.
