as far as I can see
the strangest thing is the complete absence of free time, time to just bum around... seems like from the earliest age now life is now lived to an extraordinarily tight schedule of value adding activities... where's the time for misbehaving, throwing stuff at other kids, setting fire to stuff, arbitrary acts of breathtaking laziness, doing nothing, getting dirty.

Well, now that you mentioned this...
in the cusp of the age of overachievers, Generation X does not only obsess over their accomplishments but also stress over their offspring's achievements...the kids must be X to the triple  'x' power:  x-clusive, x-ceptional and x-emplary.  They watch Baby Einstein and are capable of formulating Emc2 as well as recite Shakespeare babble by the age of one.

This new generation has changed the psychological profiling once modeled around Freud's phallicy syndrome.  The Penis Envy has now been replaced by the Harvard Envy.  We need a new pill to chill.

Now, concerning your stealy swiftly nifty swiper habits, I am going to have to report you to the NY Poelice.  Better warn LadyM to have the bail for ya.    Miss Melody, the Rat Patrol
