Schatz I vote for you for the most sensible and logical! Being anxious
is a way that our brains try and make us think we are doing something to help when we are sooooo helpless to do anything. It is bad because it is letting one bad thing spawn another then another then another to NO end! Making more negativity and adding fuel to the fire. I feel like I can feel too much of what is going on. Like my "feelers" are actually hyper-sensitive. It gets to be a bit much and tries to tire me tire me! I like helping and sharing and stuff. This is what I am supposed to do... : )

Some of us have more of those than others. My whole life for the past 5 years has seemed like it couldn't possibly be my life. Alien work, I think.
Perhaps we will take a lovely starship into the Galaxy and search for them.

Not that I'm saying it's not real, but the thing is, everything is relative
so really, if you un-choose the fox news bulletins, they aren't part of your every day life-real life. They don't need to be. I got a letter from a real soldier today. It made me so sad to read him talking about getting back to his family and how proud he is to be fighting to keep America safe. Not because of anything other than his love for his wife and daughter here. That, and self preservation. He wasn't 'sent over', he chose to go. You and I can sensibly choose to limit our panic intake. What good does it do us, here and now, to get all pumped up about terrorism? Would it stop any one of them? Noooooo, of course not. But it might make me anxious all day. That's no good either.
You help me every day just by being present here, giving me something else to focus on and look forward to. All of you Bloggers, but you especially Miss Mysteria.

And as one empath to another I am sure we both know how one another feels.... : ) I am pretty relaxed and detached today. I am recovering from being a emo/goth/vampire/zombie for the last few days...I really don't know how long...time stretches in funny ways for me sometimes. Does that ever happen to you?

I used to get really upset over all the images of death and destruction I saw on the news ...
Until I realized, I don't live anywhere near the Middle East!
Then, I felt a lot better.
Love can sweep you off your feet, and carry you along in a way you've never known before.
But the ride always ends, and you end up feeling lonely and bitter.
Wait. It's not love I'm describing.
I'm thinking of a monorail.
