- Go to Terrorist Plot To Blow Up Mackinac Bridge?
MountainClimber,
beautiful bridge!
Unfortunately, we're going to see more of that sort of thing in future...
But what's wrong with ferries? I recently crossed Lake Champlain again by ferry, a great experience...

FlightPath, Thank God for the bridge -- I have had only my experience
of having my car ferried across a body of water, and believe me it was a terroristic experience, because I was so afraid!

That's right, Mt. Climber - neither my daughter nor I would give in to terrorists. Her change of plans was made long before this happened. btw, before the Bridge was built, the only way across the Straits was by Ferry boat. Trucks had to go through Wisconsin.

FlightPath, you are right, but if we give in to the terrorist
we lose and they win again!

Bel, don't let the terroist or potential terrorist rob you of
the bridge's beautry or awesomeness -- in their opinion that is as good as blowing it up!

I posted about this earlier today. This bridge is only 100 miles from my home. My daughter usually takes the Labor Day Weekend walk, but I'm happy she had not planned to do so this year. Who knows... someone else might adopt the plan.

MC
Carl is from the other side of that bridge. My father in law lives there. We spend a great deal of time up there and the only way to get there is via the bridge. I doubt I will ever ride over it again with the same awe so the beauty.

Bel 1965, I have never been there, but as I said in my post,
my brother-in-law walks it every Labor Day. He travels all the way from Birmingham, Alabama to Michigan just to be a part of their Labor Day Cancer Walk!

MountainClimber, They were discarding the chargers, and explained that they
Were simply going to re-sell the phones.
Try begin the process of conspiring to promote a long string of mall and transportation bombings her via remote. Gosh!
