Actually the humidity has dropped a great deal around here, so we have those absolutley perfect summer days. Not to hot but sunny.

I'm a bit different...
The last dregs of summer become too draining because of the humidity here plus the electric bill is through the roof, lol. Autumn I yearn for - leaves turning, cooler air, tame weather and an awesome annual Fall Festival nearby. I can hardly wait.....:)
Hoping you enjoy these days as much as possible Bel.

bel, I love Fall - it's the most wonderful time of the year. The heat of Summer is too much - makes breathing difficult. The fall colors are a sight to behold and the weather is great.
There's nothing wrong with the kids going back to school. lol

If I lived up north, I would probably cherish summers. But, being from the deep south, I always dreaded the summers. 90's in April, 100's in June and lasting well into September. The winters were mild, with cold air every now and then. Very little snow and ice. Autumn's my favorite, probably because it was nature's way of cooling things off.

Summer and waves. Waves and summer.
I'll always need both those things.
But I do like winter, too. Hot girls in tight sweaters...

In Cali August only signified that three more glorious months of Indian Summer-like weather were ahead. Plus my b-day is 8-20, so I kinda LIKE August! lol. (except when I'm feeling old).

Yah ... I am so not ready to go back to school.
I've grown quite accustomed to waking up around noon-ish.
